Common mistake #2 : WASTING TIME
So many people waste time on the wrong client. Sometimes we just go over and above to please a client that’s a dead set pain in the arse. Why do we do that?
You’ve got to think about your limits. What are the things that you won’t tolerate, what are the things that they must have and you must have to come to an agreement between you and your client? If you just do everybody that comes in the door and you think you have to, you’ll be exhausted before you know it.
What you need to do is understand who your ideal client is. Picture it in your mind, create an avatar of them because then you’ll know who to market to. Then you’ll know who you want in your chair and when you know that, you’ll know where else they shop, where else they eat, where else they spend their money.
Hang on to what it is that you love because that’s why you became a hairdresser or a beauty therapist in the first place. Don’t let anybody take that joy away from you.
