Your numbers tell you so much about the health of your business. They are the first thing we review at The ZING Project because the numbers tell us so much about our clients. If you don’t know where your clients come from, if you don’t know how many new clients you get a week and how many you lose, then you really have got a problem.

Here at The ZING Project, we know that the third year is the most common time that people come to us for advice. Year three is when you start running out of steam and begin thinking, “Someone’s got to help me with this because I don’t know what to do.” It’s a bit of a reality check.

If you don’t know how many of your clients you rebook on the day if you don’t know what your average dollar sale is, you are just wandering about in the dark, blindly guessing.

That is costing you a lot of money. Don’t guess. When you learn how numbers work, it’s really exciting. Just as an example, go back to this month, last year, and have a look. Were you making more last year, or did you make more this year?

It’s really important to measure because otherwise, you just don’t know and that’s not a good place to be now if you’re a business owner.
